EBCO Industries operates a large advanced manufacturing facility in Richmond, BC, supporting heavy machining, fabrication, assembly, repair, and specialized industrial projects.
Radiance Energy completed an in-depth energy audit and developed a custom LED lighting retrofit designed around the demands of EBCO’s warehouse and production environments. The project was completed in July 2023 with a focus on energy efficiency, lighting quality, and long-term operating savings.
The Challenge
EBCO’s existing lighting system consumed excessive energy, required ongoing maintenance, and did not provide adequate illumination for demanding industrial work.
The facility needed a lighting solution capable of delivering more consistent visibility across large warehouse and production areas while reducing energy consumption and long-term operating costs.
The Solution
Radiance Energy conducted a detailed energy audit and implemented a custom LED retrofit using high-performance fixtures selected for EBCO’s industrial operating environment.
The new system improved illumination across warehouse and production areas while significantly reducing electricity consumption and maintenance requirements. Radiance also secured a substantial BC Hydro incentive, reducing the capital required to complete the upgrade.
